    Boat trip on Lake Geneva

Eleman invites you to a silent trip on Western Europe's largest lake. Aboard the Lasai 22 GL, a premium solar-electric boat, rediscover Lake Geneva at the pace of slow boating — no noise, no fumes, no carbon footprint.

Solar-electric boat trip in front of Yvoire on Lake Geneva

Lake Geneva stretches 580 km² between France and Switzerland. Its crescent shape offers exceptional scenic variety: refined Petit Lac between Geneva and Yvoire, wilder Grand Lac facing the Alps, Lavaux vineyards to the east, the Savoy shore to the south. An electric boat trip changes how you relate to the lake. Without the rumble of a combustion engine, you hear the water, the wind, the birds. You approach the shore without disturbing anything. Slow boating is another way to sail — more respectful, more aware, more intense.

    Frequently asked questions

What's the best season for a trip on Lake Geneva?+

Eleman operates from May to October. June and September offer the best conditions: stable weather, quieter lake, pleasant temperatures. July-August for swimming, May-October for the light.

Where do the trips depart from?+

From the port of Yvoire, on the south (Savoy) shore. Yvoire is 30 minutes from Geneva. Parking near the harbour.

Is an electric boat as fast as a combustion boat?+

No, and that's by design. The Lasai 22 GL cruises at around 8 knots (15 km/h) — that's the slow boating spirit. For speed thrills, it's not the right boat. For serenity and silence, it's unmatched.

Can we swim from the boat?+

Yes. The Lasai 22 GL has a swim platform at the stern with a ladder. Lake Geneva offers clear waters, especially off Excenevex, Yvoire and the Vaud shore.

Do I need experience to helm?+

A boating license (French or Swiss) is required. If you have one but haven't sailed in a while, we take 15 minutes at departure to refresh you on the Lasai and on lake navigation rules.
